Glasgow Science Centre
Glasgow Science Centre a visitor attraction that has been rated 5-star quality by VisitScotland. Popular for school trips the centre aims to "promote science and technology through thought-provoking, fun and exciting experiences".

It is also used regularly for conferences and corporate events and has fantastic facilities along with highly professional staff.

Conference Rooms
The main conference room will be the IMAX Theatre (pictured left) which can seat 370 people. In addition to this we are using the Clyde Suite, Science Show Theatre and The Auditorium as addition spaces for parallel sessions. The conference exhibition, along with meals and drinks, will be in the Atrium, a large flexible space next to the IMAX Theatre.

Transport
The Science Centre is situated at Pacific Quay on the opposite side of the River Clyde from the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC) and next to BBC Scotland. It is a short walk from the SECC train station and is on bus routes from the city centre. There are 420 free car parking spaces at the venue. The distance from Glasgow Central Station to the Science Centre is about 2 miles. The postcode for the centre is G51 1EA.

Hotels
There are a few hotels close by to the Science Centre and many hotels in the main part of the city centre. More information is be available in the registration section.

Pip Divall is the Conference Director. She is the Clinical Librarian Service Manager at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. She was Conference Director for HLG 2010 in Salford and is the main organiser for the International Clinical Librarian Conference.

Stuart Glover is the Programme Lead for HLG 2012. He is employed as Library Services Manager by University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and was also the Programme Lead for the 2010 HLG Conference.
